ORBIS SE exceeds revenue expectations in the 2022 financial year

Location:Saarbrücken

The Saarbrücken-based software and business consulting company ORBIS SE, which is listed in the General Standard, has published its Group Annual Report 2022.

ORBIS can also look back on a financial year with a significant increase in group turnover in 2022. With the majority shareholdings in BLUE STEC in Lüneburg and contrimo GmbH in Mannheim, as well as investments in new products, the ORBIS service portfolio was strengthened once again.

According to the annual report, ORBIS recorded a 22.5 % increase in turnover at group level in the 2022 financial year compared to the previous year to € 120,537,000 (previous year: € 98,399,000). The number of employees will in-crease by 17.0 % to 888 employees as of 31 December 2022 (previous year: 759 employees).

The operating result (EBIT) increased by 9.4 % to € 4,855,000 (previous year: € 4,437,000).

The share of the consolidated result attributable to the shareholders of ORBIS SE after taxes and minority interests amounts to € 2,389 thousand (previous year: € 2,369 thousand).

Due to the positive cash flow from operating activities, ORBIS has liquid funds of T€ 15,825 despite the investments in the expansion of the site in Saarbrücken and investments in the expansion of business operations as well as the investments in the acquisition of the shares in the companies BLUE STEC GmbH and contrimo GmbH.

The Executive Board and Supervisory Board will therefore propose a dividend payment of 15 cents per share at the 2023 Annual General Meeting.

As an internationally active software and business consulting company, ORBIS SE operates in the industry, automotive supplier, consumer goods and trade as well as construction supplier sectors.

ORBIS has specialized and established itself as a competent partner on the path to the digital future in several business areas. We expect this to give us further competitive advantages over other market participants in the future.

Digitalization is at the top of the agenda for all companies in order to achieve competitive advantages for the future. However, we have to assume that the Ukraine war and the development of energy prices and interest rates in 2023 may have a negative impact on our customers' business activities and on their willingness to start new projects.

Provided that the current crisis situation in the economy in Europe does not escalate further, we are assuming turnover growth in the single-digit percentage range and EBIT at the previous year's level for the 2023 financial year.
