Wolf Group introduces Microsoft Dynamics CRM: More efficiency and transparency in sales processes

Logo of Wolf GmbH

ORBIS AG from Saarbrücken is introducing Microsoft Dynamics CRM at Wolf GmbH, a leading manufacturer of innovative and energy-efficient systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and solar technology. With this CRM solution, the company from Mainburg in Lower Bavaria can bundle customer-related data on a central work platform, make CRM processes consistent, especially in sales, and thus carry them out transparently and very efficiently. The application, which is fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook, fits perfectly into the Wolf Group's IT strategy, as Microsoft solutions are the first choice for front office and groupware. It replaces in-house programming based on IBM Lotus Notes.

Wolf GmbH entrusted the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM to ORBIS AG, whose experts impressed with their process and industry knowledge as well as their high level of consulting expertise. The CRM system will be installed as a central application for all business areas, with the focus of the implementation project being on mapping sales-related processes. In addition to the complex project business with its mesh of data, documents and activities, as well as the management of customer relationships with wholesalers and specialist tradesmen, this includes above all the quotation system.

When creating a quotation in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the sales department will in future be able to carry out the online pricing and condition check required in this context in SAP ERP directly from the CRM solution, thus streamlining the process considerably. They can also use the CRM solution to view other information they need about a customer, such as invoices, credit memos, open items, delivery bills or reminders, with just a few mouse clicks from SAP ERP. This is possible because the ORBIS SAP Integration Suite seamlessly links the CRM application with the ERP software. In return, data from the CRM solution, for example customer master data or conditions, can be transferred to the SAP software. At the same time, a product configurator and document dispatch software developed by Wolf itself are directly connected to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, making the CRM solution the central work platform in sales.

After successful commissioning of Microsoft Dynamics CRM - the productive start is planned for fall 2016 - the CRM modules for marketing and service will then be implemented in the next step. In the final stage, around 300 users in the Wolf Group are expected to work with the new CRM software.
