ORBIS AG expands the Management Board as of October 01, 2018

ORBIS AG, the Saarbrücken-based software and business consulting company listed in the General Standard, expands its management board

In its resolution today, the Supervisory Board of ORBIS AG approved the appointment of Michael Jung and Frank Schmelzer as two additional members of the Executive Board, effective October 1, 2018. Both began their professional careers at ORBIS after completing their business administration studies and have held various management positions at the company for more than 30 years.

In future, Michael Jung will be responsible for the Microsoft business unit as a member of the Executive Board, and Frank Schmelzer will be responsible for the SAP business unit as a member of the Executive Board.

In its resolution today, the Supervisory Board of ORBIS AG additionally appointed Thomas Gard as Chairman of the Management Board and Stefan Mailänder as Deputy Chairman, effective October 1, 2018.

Thomas Gard will in future be in charge of Market and Strategy, while Stefan Mailänder will continue as Chief Financial Officer.

With the expansion of the Executive Board, ORBIS is consistently pursuing its international growth and wants to take advantage of the opportunities that arise in the market through the realization of digital processes - from customer engagement to the digital factory to the digital company - at the customers. To this end, the corporate structure is being aligned in a sustainable and future-proof manner.
