Combined SAP-CX expertise from a single source: ORBIS acquires majority stake in contrimo

ORBIS SE, the international software and business consulting company based in Saarbrücken, Germany, acquired a 60% majority stake in contrimo GmbH. The SAP partner based in Mannheim specializes in consulting and implementing the SAP customer experience solutions (CX) for marketing, sales, and service and developing customized applications or enhancements based on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).

For ORBIS SE, which has been collaborating very successfully with contrimo in this field for some time, the majority stake is a strategically important component for strengthening their SAP-CX expertise and expanding their presence in the Rhine-Main region. Together, the SAP-CX experts from ORBIS and contrimo will act as one team and deliver all their services from a single source. For existing customers and new customers alike, this amounts to true added value since they benefit from the combined SAP-CX expertise of both companies. The Saarbrücken-based IT service provider also uses this stake to noticeably increase their visibility in the SAP-CX market and thereby develop additional sales potential and further expand their market share. Now, ORBIS also benefits from contrimo’s innovative software solutions that expand the standard SAP-CX and S/4HANA processes: In the future, the company can use capacities in contrimo’s development and innovation lab and thus satisfy the individual process needs of their customers more quickly.

As a result of this expansion of personal capacity and the resulting bundling of resources, sales activities for contrimo-developed TEM event management software can continue to be strengthened as well. TEM, a cloud-native solution based on SAP BTP, integrates seamlessly into SAP applications and supports event manager, seminar, or academy directors with the professionalization of their marketing and sales activities. At the same time, the software is so flexible that they are adjusted to the respective customer needs and processes and can be combined with SAP’s learning management systems.
