Eckes-Granini opts for ORBIS Consumer Suite: CRM from the Microsoft Cloud with mobile sales processes

ORBIS AG is introducing the CRM solution ORBIS Consumer Suite based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online at Eckes-Granini Group GmbH, a leading manufacturer of fruit juices and fruit-based soft drinks in Europe. Eckes-Granini intends to use the cloud-based CRM industry solution for the consumer goods industry to manage its sales processes more efficiently, flexibly and in a more targeted manner in the future, in order to provide even better support for its customers in the food retail and catering sectors.

"The cloud-based ORBIS Consumer Suite simply fulfills our requirements best, and we expect significantly more efficiency and flexibility in the sales processes from its use. The in-depth process and industry knowledge as well as the consulting expertise of ORBIS AG in the consumer goods sector played an important role in the decision," explains Wolfgang Menzel, Head of IT Germany at the Eckes-Granini Group. The future-proof CRM industry solution is based on the latest Microsoft technology, is continuously being developed and can be seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Office 365. As many industry-typical processes are also preset in the application, Eckes-Granini's process requirements can already be covered by more than 80 percent in the standard version.

With the help of the cloud-based ORBIS Consumer Suite, the Eckes-Granini Group intends to optimize, among other things, visit planning and personnel deployment in the field sales force. Which brands and products the field sales force will focus on placing with customers will in future be controlled by marketing campaigns that are planned in the CRM cloud environment on the basis of sales rounds. At the same time, the ORBIS Consumer Suite enables rapid entry into cloud-based mobile processes. In the future, the field sales force will be able to plan, prepare, carry out and follow up their visit tours conveniently on the road using the Apple iPad, as well as enter orders at the customer's site and transfer them directly to the CRM solution. For these purposes, the "Resco Mobile CRM App for Microsoft Dynamics" will be used, for which there is also an ORBIS Consumer Suite solution.

In addition, the field service will create the visit documentation during the customer appointment right on site and also record the expenses incurred - both online and offline. With the scalable SaaS cloud operating model, Eckes-Granini not only wants to bring more efficiency and flexibility to its sales processes, but also relieve the internal IT department of administration and maintenance tasks, leaving it more room for core tasks. The ORBIS Consumer Suite is currently being introduced for sales in Germany. Rollout to other national companies is planned for a later date.
