General Meeting resolves on the transformation of ORBIS AG into a European company (Societas Europaea, SE)
Mr. Thomas Gard, Chairman of the Management Board of ORBIS AG, explained that ORBIS AG is increasingly active in other European countries with its own market development.
In light of ongoing internationalization, Mr. Gard explained that the Management Board and Supervisory Board consider the transformation into a European company – known as an SE for short – to be the logical next step.
The listing of ORBIS shares on the stock exchange, not to mention the trading of the shares, will not be affected by the conversion, Mr. Gard added. The General Meeting then approved the Terms of Conversion, including the Articles of Incorporation, almost unanimously.
